Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 22, 2026

taytae is run by two moms who care about your family's privacy as much as our own. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

This policy applies to taytae.com and everything we do through it.

Who we are

TayTae LLC ("taytae," "we," "us") is a limited liability company located at 700 N Neely St, Unit 11, Gilbert, AZ 85233. For any privacy question or request, email support@taytae.com.

What we collect

Information you give us

  • Name, email address, and phone number
  • Shipping and billing addresses
  • Order details — what you bought, sizes, order history
  • Your children's first names, ages, or clothing sizes, only if you choose to give them to us (for example, on our waitlist form so we can tell you when their size restocks)
  • Messages you send us through our contact form or email
  • Reviews, photos, or comments you choose to share with us

Information collected automatically

  • Device and browser type, operating system, screen size
  • IP address and approximate location (city/region level)
  • Pages you visit, links you click, how long you stay, and the site you came from
  • Cookie and similar identifiers (see Cookies and tracking below)

Information we get from others

  • Order, payment, and fraud-screening data from Shopify and our payment processors
  • Email engagement data (opens, clicks) from Klaviyo
  • Aggregate traffic data from Google Analytics
  • Delivery status from shipping carriers

What we never see: your full credit or debit card number. Payments are processed directly by Shopify Payments and its processors. We only see the last four digits, the card brand, and whether the charge succeeded.

Why we use it

  • To process, pack, ship, and support your orders
  • To send order confirmations, shipping notices, and return updates
  • To send marketing emails about new drops, restocks, and sales — only if you've opted in
  • To answer your questions and resolve problems
  • To understand which products and pages people like, so we make better sets
  • To prevent fraud and abuse, and to keep the store secure
  • To comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations

Children's privacy

Our store is intended for adults shopping for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13, and our site is not directed at children.

When you give us a child's first name, age, or size, we treat that as your information, given with your consent as the parent or guardian. We use it only to help you shop — size recommendations and restock notices — and we never use it to market to a child.

If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information directly, email support@taytae.com and we'll delete it promptly.

Cookies and tracking

Cookies are small files your browser stores. We use them for three things:

TypeWhat it doesCan you turn it off?
EssentialKeeps your cart working, keeps you logged in, secures checkoutNo — the store won't function without them
Analytics (Google Analytics)Tells us, in aggregate, which pages and products people look atYes
Email (Klaviyo)Links your email activity to your account so we don't send you the same thing twiceYes

How to opt out:

  • Your browser: most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings
  • Google Analytics: install Google's opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
  • Global Privacy Control: if your browser or extension sends a GPC signal, we honor it as an opt-out of sale/sharing
  • Marketing email: click "unsubscribe" in any email, or email us

We do not currently run advertising pixels from Meta, Instagram, or TikTok. If that changes, we'll update this policy before we turn them on.

Who we share it with

We share only what's necessary, and only with:

  • Shopify — our store platform, checkout, and customer accounts
  • Payment processors — to charge your card and screen for fraud
  • Klaviyo — to send our emails
  • Google Analytics — for aggregate site analytics
  • Shipping carriers and fulfillment partners — to get your package to you
  • Professional advisors — accountants and lawyers, when needed
  • Authorities — if we're legally required to, or to protect someone's safety
  • A buyer — if taytae is ever sold or merged, your information would transfer with the business, subject to this policy

We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own advertising.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have about you
  • Access a copy of it
  • Correct anything inaccurate
  • Delete it (except what we must keep for tax, legal, or fraud-prevention reasons)
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information — we don't do either, but the right stands
  • Opt out of marketing at any time
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

To make a request, email support@taytae.com with what you'd like us to do. We'll verify it's really you — usually by confirming details from a past order — and respond within 45 days. We won't charge you for it, and we won't treat you any differently for asking.

If you're in California, you may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

Email and SMS

Marketing emails come from us via Klaviyo. Every one has an unsubscribe link, and we honor it immediately. Transactional messages — order confirmations, shipping notices, return updates — aren't marketing, so you'll keep getting those as long as you have an open order.

We do not currently send marketing text messages. If we start, we'll ask for your separate, explicit consent first.

How long we keep things

  • Order records: 7 years, for tax and accounting purposes
  • Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe, or after 3 years of no engagement
  • Support emails: 2 years
  • Analytics data: per Google Analytics' standard retention settings

How we protect it

Our store runs on Shopify, which encrypts data in transit and at rest and is PCI-DSS compliant for payment handling. We limit who can access customer data to the two of us. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise absolute safety — but we treat your information the way we'd want ours treated.

Where your data lives

taytae operates in the United States and our service providers store data in the U.S. If you access the store from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll say so on the site or email you. Keep using the store and you're accepting the updated version.
